HumaniseAI

An independent, non-commercial research project exploring subject-specific AI teaching and learning tools for secondary education.

What this is

This domain is held as part of an early-stage research and development project exploring how AI tools might be made more effective as subject-specific teaching resources. The work is practitioner-led, growing out of classroom teaching experience in secondary economics education.

The direction

Generic AI programs are useful. They are also limited in ways that matter for subject-specific education — they do not reliably understand syllabus scope, mark scheme conventions, or the nuances of how arguments should be formed within a specific specification. The question being explored here is whether those limitations can be addressed through structured, domain-specific knowledge frameworks given to an AI at the start of a teaching session.

This is early-stage thinking. Nothing on this domain exists as a finished product yet.

Status
